Barbara Stomprud
Barbara Stomprud is co-founder and president of Vessel of Honor Ministry, Inc. Through this non- profit ministry which was founded in 1998, she is dedicated to spreading the Gospel to the nations. She has ministered throughout the United States and internationally in Nigeria, Africa; Guyana, South America; Costa Rica, Australia, Indonesia and Canada. Barbara operates with an apostolic and prophetic anointing as a gifted speaker, leader, teacher and mentor. She is especially anointed to recognize and activate the spiritual gifts in others. Barbara also has a passion to train, equip and mobilize teams for ministry. She and her team are actively coaching and facilitating “Training for Reigning Courses” to disciple and mature the body of Christ. Her ministering, mentoring, and ability to disciple others focuses on maximizing their potential for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God.
Barbara has been in ministry since 1990. She obtained her certification as a Bible counselor from Vine Life Ministries in December 1995. In August 2004 she completed 4 Units of Clinical Pastoral Education for Chaplaincy as well. Barbara has also been licensed as a Minister with the Independent Assemblies since February 2002. She has been ordained under the apostolic covering of Barbara Wentroble; International Breakthrough Ministries since May 2003.
Barbara is also a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband Oscar live in Edmond, Oklahoma. They have three grown children and five beautiful grandchildren. All of their children are actively ministering in their respective churches. Oscar and Barbara are active members of Calvary Temple, in Edmond, Oklahoma under Pastor Dale Drain.
